Rain or Shine Sale: GC3 at $5,249, R10 $399

Summer Sale Ended July 7 — Here's What's Still Available

The Short Answer

Rain or Shine Summer Sale ended July 7. GC3 was at $5,249, R10 at $399, ST Max at $1,995. Recap and what's still available at current pricing.

By AceJuly 1, 2026

SALE ENDED July 7, 2026. The Rain or Shine Summer Sale has closed as scheduled. The pricing below documents the deals that were available during this event. Some individual product discounts may still show on the Rain or Shine site, but the event-wide pricing has ended. GC3 at $5,249 is Foresight’s permanent price drop and survives this sale closure.

Rain or Shine Golf has their Summer Sale running through July 7. Up to 44% off, launch monitors through enclosures to projectors. It’s their “Celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary” thing, and unlike most holiday sales, the deals are actually good.

The Launch Monitor Deals

Foresight GC3 — $5,249 (was $6,999) The GC3 at $5,249 is the best mid-range launch monitor deal of the year. It’s the endgame for most home sim builders — three cameras, no stickers, no subscription, ball and club data with enough accuracy to trust your numbers. At $5,249 with the current Uneekor promos running at the same time, it’s a genuine choice between the GC3 (Foresight ecosystem, proven) and the Eye Mini Lite (Uneekor ecosystem, $2,499 with free GSPro). Two different price tiers, both excellent.

Garmin R10 — $399.99 (was $600) The R10 at $400 is the cheapest you’ll see it until Black Friday. It’s the gateway drug — the launch monitor that gets you into sim golf for pocket change. Radar-based, portable, works with GSPro and Awesome Golf. At $400, it’s a no-brainer for anyone who wants to try sim golf without committing thousands.

SkyTrak ST Max — from $1,995 (was $2,995) Thirty-three percent off the SkyTrak ST Max. At $1,995, it’s competitive with the Eye Mini Lite ($2,499) and the Rapsodo MLM2PRO ($549.99, also on sale). The ST Max is camera-based, photometric, and runs on an iPad. No PC required. That’s the differentiator versus Uneekor’s whole lineup — if you don’t want a Windows tower in your sim room, the ST Max is the best option at this price.

Rapsodo MLM2PRO — $549.99 (was $699.99) The MLM2PRO at $550 is the best value in portable launch monitors right now. Radar-based with a camera for impact video, integrated to GSPro and E6, and carries a subscription for full features. At $550 with 21% off, it splits the difference between the R10 ($400, no camera) and the Mevo Gen2 ($1,245, better radar).

Garmin R50 — $4,499.99 (was $4,999) The R50 is Garmin’s premium unit — dual radar and camera, built-in display, no PC needed, works standalone or with GSPro. At $4,499 it’s still expensive, but it’s the only launch monitor in its class that doesn’t need a computer. If your sim room doesn’t have a PC slot, this is your option.

Foresight GCQuad — from $11,999 (was $21,293) Forty-four percent off the GCQuad. That’s a real number. The GCQuad is the legacy Foresight flagship — quadrascopic cameras, built-in display, no subscription, pro-level accuracy used by PGA Tour coaches. At $11,999 it’s still a lot of money. But it was $21K, and that’s a real savings number if you were already shopping in this tier.

The Sim Package Deals

If you’re building from scratch, the SwingBay packages are where the real value lives. Rain or Shine bundles the launch monitor with their SwingBay enclosure, screen, and mat at a package discount you can’t match buying separately.

SkyTrak ST Max SwingBay — from $4,899 (was $8,676) At $4,899 with 44% off, this is the best full-sim deal of the sale. You get the ST Max, the SwingBay enclosure with impact screen, a SwingTurf mat, and everything you need to start hitting. Add a projector from the deal below and you’re under $7K for a complete, room-ready sim. That’s the sweet spot.

FlightScope Mevo Gen2 SwingBay — from $4,499 (was $7,326) The Mevo Gen2 is a better launch monitor than the ST Max if you’re comparing raw data quality (Doppler radar with measured spin, dual-band tracking). But it needs space — 15+ feet of ball flight for radar to work — and it’s outdoor-friendly. The SwingBay bundle at $4,499 is the cheapest entry into a genuine full-screen sim build.

Garmin R50 SwingBay — from $7,699 (was $10,525) The R50 at $7,699 in a complete SwingBay package is the no-PC-required answer. The R50 runs GSPro natively on its built-in display, so you skip the $1,500 PC cost that every other package adds. That makes the $7,699 price tag more like $6,199 effective when you factor out the computer.

Screens, Nets, and Enclosures

Outdoor Practice Bundle — $999 (was $1,486) Rain or Shine is selling their giveaway bundle for $999 — over $1,400 of outdoor practice gear. Net, mat, impact screen, carrying case. If you hit outdoors in the summer and want a setup that packs into a bag, this is the deal.

SwingBay Enclosure Bundle — from $3,249 (was $5,526) The SwingBay enclosure with screen, turf, and mat at $3,249 is 41% off. This is the enclosure that pairs with most of the launch monitors above. If you already own a launch monitor and need the structure, this is the buy.

SportScreen Vanish Retractable — from $2,549 (was $2,999) The retractable enclosure is the premium choice for a multi-use garage. It retracts to the ceiling when you park the car. At $2,549 with 15% off, it’s the cheapest it’s been since last Black Friday.

Projector Deals

BenQ AK700ST 4K — $2,899 (was $2,999) The AK700ST is the most recommended simulator projector on the market. 4K, 4,000 lumens, short throw, laser — it checks every box. Three percent off isn’t much, but the AK700ST rarely goes on sale at all. If you’re building a sim, buy the projector you’ll have for 5+ years.

Optoma ZW350ST — $849 (was $950) The budget pick. WXGA resolution, 3,500 lumens, short throw laser. At $849 with 11% off, it’s the cheapest name-brand sim projector on the market. You’ll see the difference in resolution versus the AK700ST, but at a third of the price, the ZW350ST gets the job done.

BenQ LK936ST 4K — $4,899 (was $5,849) The premium commercial-grade projector. 5,000 lumens, 4K UHD, laser phosphor. If your sim room has ambient light or you want the brightest possible image, the LK936ST is the endgame.

My Pick

The SkyTrak ST Max SwingBay at $4,899 is the best value in this entire sale. It’s a complete simulator — launch monitor, enclosure, screen, mat — for under $5,000. Add an Optoma ZW350ST projector for $849 and you’re at $5,748 for a full sim that will run on your iPad. No PC, no extra cables, no hidden costs.

That’s a better value than what most of us thought was possible even two years ago.

More SwingBay Packages Worth Your Time

Uneekor EYE XO SwingBay — $9,249 (was $13,026 — 29% off) The EYE XO is Uneekor’s entry-level overhead launch monitor. Ceiling-mounted, infrared + camera tracking, no marked balls or club stickers needed. It’s a permanent installation — once it’s up on your ceiling, it stays there. At $9,249 with the full SwingBay package, you’re getting the launch monitor ($5,999 standalone), enclosure, screen, turf, mat, and projector for the price of what the individual components would cost separately. This is for the guy who’s building a permanent, no-compromise sim room with the cleanest possible setup.

ProTee VX SwingBay — $9,749 (was $12,026 — 19% off) The ProTee VX is the competing overhead unit from the Netherlands. Same ceiling-mounted concept as the EYE XO but with a larger 25“ × 21“ hitting zone (vs. 13.7“ × 11.8“ on the XO). Uses photometric cameras and infrared tracking, no marked balls, includes club data with no stickers. At $9,749 bundled, it’s $500 more than the EYE XO package but gives you a significantly larger hitting area. If you share the sim with lefties or move around your stance, that extra real estate matters.

Uneekor EYE XR SwingBay — $8,749 (was $12,025 — 27% off) The EYE XR is Uneekor’s sticker-free overhead unit. Three IR cameras with AI tracking — no stickers for ball or club data. Single Power-over-Ethernet cable for installation (simpler than the XO’s multi-cable setup). But the hitting zone is smaller (13.7“ × 11.8“) and it mounts behind the player rather than in front. At $8,749 bundled, it’s the cheapest overhead Uneekor package in the sale.

FlightScope 4th of July Sale

Separately from Rain or Shine’s event, FlightScope is running their own 4th of July promotion through the same window. These overlap, so you can stack knowledge across both.

Mevo Gen2 + Pro Package + Face Impact Location — $2,149 (was $2,798 — Save $649) This is the Mevo Gen2 bundle that gets you the full FlightScope experience. The Pro Package ($500 standalone) unlocks club path, face angle, angle of attack, and dynamic loft. Face Impact Location ($200 standalone) adds the impact dot visualization. Standalone Mevo Gen2 is $1,299. Getting everything for $2,149 — effectively $1,850 for the launch monitor plus $300 for the software — is a solid deal. But only if you actually need the Pro Package. If you’re just hitting balls in your garage for fun, the base Mevo Gen2 at $1,299 is enough.

FlightScope i4 Rangefinder — $399 (was $499 — Save $100) Not a sim product, but worth mentioning because the i4 is FlightScope’s best rangefinder. It’s the only consumer rangefinder with true Doppler radar — it doesn’t just measure distance, it measures club speed, ball speed, smash factor, and tempo on the range. Think of it as a pocket-sized launch monitor for outdoor practice. The i4 doesn’t go on sale often.

What Should You Buy?

Depends on where you are in the sim journey.

Curious, never owned a sim, budget under $1,500:

  • Garmin R10 at $400 + SwingBay Enclosure at $1,999 = a full setup for under $2,400
  • Or: MLM2PRO at $550 + any cheap enclosure ($200-500) = under $1,000 total

Building a dedicated room, budget under $5,000:

  • Mevo Gen2 SwingBay at $4,499 — full package, projector included, ready to go
  • Or: ST Max at $1,995 + buy a Carl’s Place enclosure separately

Going all-in, budget $9,000+:

  • EYE XO SwingBay at $9,249 or ProTee VX SwingBay at $9,749
  • Cleanest overhead install. No floor clutter. Instant lefty-righty switching.

Have everything except an enclosure:

  • SwingBay Enclosure at $1,999. 43% off. Best component deal of the sale.

The Calendar

Sale Ends Products
Rain or Shine Summer Sale July 7 GC3, R50, MLM2PRO, ST MAX, R10, SwingBay packages, BenQ projector
FlightScope 4th of July July 7 Mevo Gen2 bundle, i4 rangefinder, SwingBay packages
Uneekor Independence Day July 7 Entire Uneekor lineup — Eye Mini, Eye XO2, Eye XR, Eye Mini Lite

All three sales end on the same day. That’s not a coincidence — July 7 is the last big deal window before the summer lull. After that, prices stabilize until Black Friday.

If you’ve been waiting for a reason to buy, this is probably it. Not because the discounts are unprecedented (some are good, some are fine), but because the next real sale window is November. That’s four months away. And winter starts before Black Friday.

The sale ends July 7. Last day. Go.
