Uneekor EYE XR: Not Actually Bundle-Only
Press reports claim the EYE XR is exclusive to the AI Studio Package. Uneekor's own website still lists standalone at $6,980. Here's the actual situation.

The Short Answer
Uneekor EYE XR is still available standalone at $6,980 despite press reports claiming it's exclusive to the AI Studio Package. Here's what's happening.

Uneekor EYE XR: The AI Studio Isn’t the Only Option. Yet.
A bunch of golf media outlets ran the same headline last week: “EYE XR Is Now Exclusive to the Studio Package.” The Golf Wire, Golf Monthly, and others reported that Uneekor killed the standalone EYE XR SKU and made the $5,999 AI Studio the only way to buy.
That’s what the press release said. But the actual product page tells a different story.
I checked Uneekor.com on July 8, 2026. The EYE XR page still lists two buying options:
- EYE XR AI Studio (bundle): $5,499 (Independence Day sale pricing)
- EYE XR Launch Monitor (alone): $6,980
There it is. Right on the page. A standalone SKU, listed alongside the bundle, with its own “Add to Cart” path. No “sold out” marker. No “no longer available” disclaimer. At checkout, you can buy the EYE XR by itself for $6,980.
So what’s actually going on? Let me break it down without the corporate spin.
What the Press Release Actually Said
Uneekor’s April announcement introduced the AI Studio as “the new standard for how the EYE XR, EYE XO, and EYE XO2 are experienced.” The key line from Uneekor’s blog: “This is not a promotional bundle. It is the new standard.”
The Golf Wire’s coverage went further, saying the EYE XR “will now be available exclusively as part of the Studio Package.”
That “exclusively” is doing a lot of work. And based on what’s on Uneekor’s website right now, it’s misleading.
What’s Actually Happening
The most likely scenario: Uneekor is transitioning to a bundle-first model but hasn’t fully pulled the standalone SKU yet. The AI Studio is the default, the marquee offering, the thing they want every sales conversation to start with. But the standalone unit is still available for buyers who either already own Swing Optix cameras or don’t want the AI Trainer subscription.
This is typical of hardware companies moving to an ecosystem model. You soft-launch the bundle as the hero product, let the standalone hang around for stragglers, and quietly deprioritize it until the inventory runs out. The standalone EYE XR at $6,980 might disappear in a month. It might disappear tomorrow. But as of today, it’s buyable.
What This Means for Home Sim Buyers
If you want the EYE XR standalone: You can still buy it at $6,980 on Uneekor.com. Don’t let the headlines scare you into a bundle you don’t want. If you already own Swing Optix cameras or have no interest in AI Trainer, the standalone path is still open.
If you want the AI Studio at $5,499: That’s the Independence Day sale price. It normally runs $5,999 and includes the launch monitor, two Swing Optix cameras with tripods, a 1-year AI Trainer subscription, and a 3-month Ultimate Package trial. That’s a $3,928 savings over buying everything separately. The bundle is a genuinely good deal — but you should know you have a choice.
If you’re waiting for the standalone to be discontinued: You might be waiting a while. The standalone SKU has been on the site for months alongside the bundle. There’s no indication from Uneekor that it’s being pulled imminently.
The Bigger Takeaway
This is a reminder that brand press releases are marketing documents, not facts. “Exclusive to the package” and “available exclusively as part of the Studio Package” are the language Uneekor and The Golf Wire used. But the product page — the actual storefront where purchases happen — still lists the standalone.
The lesson: always check the actual retail page before making a buying decision based on press coverage. The press release tells you what the brand wants you to hear. The product page tells you what you can actually buy.
If and when Uneekor actually kills the standalone SKU, we’ll update this story. Until then, the EYE XR is available both ways.
