PlayBetter Summer Sale 2026: Best Sim Deals Right Now
SkyTrak+ at $1,495, ST MAX at $1,995, and the Complete Studio package at $3,995 — here's what's worth buying in PlayBetter's extended summer sale.
The Short Answer
PlayBetter's Summer Sale is live: SkyTrak+ ($1,495), ST MAX ($1,995), Complete Studio ($3,995). Verified pricing on the deals worth buying before they end.
GEO Target: United States — these deals are available at playbetter.com and ship free within the continental US.
The PlayBetter Summer Sale has been running for over a week now, which is unusual for a seasonal sale. Most summer sales run five days, maybe seven. This one is still going strong on July 15, and I wanted to verify what’s actually live before recommending anything.
Here’s what I found after checking the site directly.
The One Deal That Matters Most
SkyTrak+ for $1,495 — that’s $1,000 off the regular $2,495 price. This is the lowest price the SkyTrak+ has ever been at PlayBetter, and it includes a free 1-year Foresight Course Play Package ($250 value) with 30+ courses.
The SkyTrak+ is the launch monitor I’d recommend to most people building a home simulator. It uses a camera system (takes photos of the ball at impact) combined with dual Doppler radar for club data. No stickers required. It works indoors and outdoors. And it connects to GSPro, E6, TGC 2019, and the new Foresight and Trackman course play options.
At $1,495, it’s the best value in the mid-tier launch monitor market. The Bushnell Launch Pro is $2,499. The GC3 is $6,999. The SkyTrak+ sits right in the sweet spot where you get club data, ball data, and software compatibility without paying professional prices.
The Complete Studio Package
SkyTrak+ Complete Studio for $3,995 — regularly $6,845. That’s $2,850 off, which is the biggest dollar discount in the sale.
This package includes the SkyTrak+ launch monitor, a PlayBetter SimStudio enclosure with impact screen, hitting mat, putting mat, and a projector. It’s a turnkey home simulator setup. If you’re building a garage or basement studio and don’t want to piece together components yourself, this is the package.
The savings are real. The individual components add up to $6,845, so you’re getting a 42% discount on the bundle. That’s about what you’d pay for a mid-range DIY setup, except everything is tested to work together.
The Budget Option
SkyTrak ST MAX for $1,995 — $1,000 off the regular $2,995 price.
The ST MAX is the successor to the original SkyTrak. It has the same photometric camera technology as the original but adds a built-in display, better processor, and club data. It’s a solid launch monitor for someone who wants sim golf without the SkyTrak+ price tag.
The trade-off is that the ST MAX doesn’t have the dual Doppler radar that the SkyTrak+ uses for club data. It measures club data through its camera system, which works but is less precise than radar-based club measurement. For most home golfers, the accuracy difference is small enough that you won’t notice.
The Entry-Level Pick
Rapsodo MLM2PRO for $599.99 — $100 off the regular $699.99 price.
The MLM2PRO is a portable launch monitor that uses a camera and radar hybrid system. It measures ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, spin axis, and carry distance. It’s one of the most accurate options under $1,000.
The limitation is that the MLM2PRO requires special RPT balls (marked with a specific pattern) for spin measurement, and it’s primarily an iPad and iPhone device. No PC support for sim software. If you’re looking for a practice tool that doubles as a basic sim, it works. If you want a full PC-based simulator experience, the SkyTrak+ or ST MAX are better choices.
What’s Not on Sale Anymore
A few products that were part of the sale earlier are now back to full price. The Uneekor EYE MINI is $4,500 (the $2,999 sale price appears to have ended). The Foresight GC3 with LINK is $6,999 (the $5,249 sale price is no longer active). These discounts may have been tied to the earlier phase of the summer sale, but as of July 15, only the SkyTrak and Rapsodo products show active discounts.
Who Should Buy Now
If you’re in the market for a SkyTrak+ or ST MAX, this is the best price you’ll see until Black Friday (and possibly not even then — the SkyTrak+ at $1,495 is lower than the 2025 Black Friday price). The Complete Studio package at $3,995 is a legitimate deal if you’re building a studio from scratch.
If you’re looking at the Uneekor EYE MINI or GC3, wait. The PlayBetter Summer Sale didn’t extend those discounts, and Black Friday is four months away. Watch for individual manufacturer sales or check CPO inventory.
The MLM2PRO at $599.99 is a fair price but not a showstopper. It’s been at $599.99 before and will be again. The $100 off is nice but it’s not going to change your buying decision.
Verdict
The PlayBetter Summer Sale is still worth your time if you’re buying a SkyTrak product. The SkyTrak+ at $1,495 is the best deal in the sale and the best price on the market for a mid-tier camera-based launch monitor. The Complete Studio package is the right choice if you want a turnkey setup.
Everything else in the sale is either a minor discount (MLM2PRO) or no longer active (EYE MINI, GC3). Don’t let the length of the sale fool you into thinking it’s a clearance event — the SkyTrak deals are genuinely good, but the rest of the catalog has returned to normal pricing.
