Originally a George Cobb design, Quail Hollow was renovated by Arnold Palmer in the 1990s and then by Tom Fazio in 2003 and again in 2016. The modern course is a Fazio production: big greens, big bunkers, generous fairways with strategic narrowing at landing zones, and a closing stretch — the Green Mile — that is the best three-hole finish in non-major Tour golf.
Quality Assessment
