Courses are organized in the software by region, difficulty, and popularity. You browse, select, and play. Course updates are automatic.

The double greens are enormous. The Road Hole (17) is punishing. The Valley of Sin on 18 is there and it will mess with your putter. Trackman’s LIDAR data captures the subtle breaks on those massive greens. You will three-putt from places you did not know you could three-putt from.

Bandon Dunes
Trackman has the entire Bandon Dunes resort — Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, Bandon Trails, Old Macdonald, and Bandon Preserve. This is a massive get. Bandon Dunes (the original David McLay Kidd design) is a masterpiece. The course is perched above the Pacific Ocean, routing through native dunes with wind that changes every hole. On Trackman, it plays exactly like the real thing — which means you will hit shots you think are perfect and watch the wind push them into a gorse bush.
Pacific Dunes is the consensus favorite among Bandon regulars. The Tom Doak design is more strategic, more demanding, and more rewarding. The ocean views are constant. On a sim, this course shines because the holes are framed naturally — no houses, no roads, no distractions.
Old Macdonald is the tribute course to classic golden-age design. The massive greens, the redan holes, the punchbowls — it is a course that rewards creativity. On Trackman, it plays firm and fast.
Pinehurst No. 2
Trackman has Pinehurst No. 2. This is a big deal. Pinehurst No. 2 is one of the most iconic courses in the world. Bethpage Black
Bethpage Black on Trackman is brutally accurate. The elevation changes are captured perfectly. The rough is punishing. The greens are fast and hard.
This is not a course you play to relax. Bethpage Black is a fight. The fairways are narrow, the approaches are long, and the course does not give you a break hole after hole. Trackman’s physics engine makes every shot feel consequential because it is.
Play it from the back tees with firm conditions. You will learn something about your game. Probably something you did not want to know.
Real Club Valderrama
Valderrama is the home of the Volvo Masters and the 1997 Ryder Cup. It is one of the most exclusive courses in Europe. On Trackman, it is one of the best sim courses available.
The cork tree-lined fairways, the small greens, the demanding approach shots — Valderrama is a precision test. It is not long. It does not need to be. Every hole asks you to shape a shot and commit to a line. If you spray the ball, Valderrama will expose you.
This is a course that sim golf was made for. The visuals are stunning. The golf is demanding. It is a must-play.
Royal County Down
Royal County Down is widely considered the best course in Ireland. On Trackman, it is one of the best sim courses period.
The gorse lining the fairways is rendered accurately — which means you will learn very quickly to keep the ball in the short grass. The blind shots are the highlight. County Down has more blind shots than any famous course in the world. You are hitting over dunes, around corners, and into greens you cannot see. On a sim, that translates perfectly because you are already hitting into a screen. The uncertainty is the point.
Royal Portrush
Royal Portrush hosted the 2019 Open Championship. On Trackman, it is a standout.
The famous Dunluce Links routing is accurate. The par-5 2nd hole plays downhill with the ocean in the background. The 16th (Calamity Corner) is a terrifying par-3 over a chasm. The closing holes along the coast are as good as any in links golf.
Trackman’s version captures the drama. If you only play one links course on Trackman, make it Portrush.
Hidden Gems
Lofoten Links
Lofoten Links in Norway is Trackman’s showcase course. It is one of the most recent additions and it is visually stunning. The course is set on a rugged peninsula above the Arctic Circle. The mountains, the fjords, the midnight sun — it looks like another planet.
On Trackman, the LIDAR data captures the dramatic terrain. The course plays along the coastline, over rocky outcroppings, and through valleys. It is unlike any course in the continental US or UK. If you want to play something that makes your friends say “where the hell is that,” this is the one.
Cabot Cliffs and Cabot Links
Trackman has both Cabot Cliffs and Cabot Links in Nova Scotia. Cabot Cliffs is one of the most dramatic courses in the world — cliff-top holes, ocean views, a routing that Ben Crenshaw called “the best property I have ever seen for a golf course.”
On Trackman, the par-3 16th hole (the one that runs along the cliff edge) is absolutely spectacular. You are hitting over the Atlantic Ocean to a green perched on the cliff. It is terrifying in real life. On the sim, it is still terrifying.
Casa De Campo ‘Teeth of the Dog’
Pete Dye’s masterpiece in the Dominican Republic. Teeth of the Dog has seven holes along the Caribbean coast. The ocean holes are spectacular — the water comes into play on every shot, the wind is constant, and the visuals are stunning.
On Trackman, this course plays firm and fast. The greens are small and demanding. It is a resort course that does not play like one.
Lahinch
Lahinch on Trackman is a joy. The famous Dell hole — a blind par-3 over a massive dune — translates perfectly to sim golf because you genuinely cannot see the green. You are hitting purely on feel and a guess about the line.
The rest of the course is classic links. Wind, firm conditions, bounces that go sideways. A round at Lahinch on Trackman is the closest you will get to playing in Ireland without a plane ticket.
Wentworth West Course
Wentworth West Course is the home of the BMW PGA Championship. On Trackman, it is a standout parkland course. The tree-lined fairways, the heather, the famous 18th hole with water down the right — it is a classic English championship course that plays differently than the American tracks you are used to.
