Condensation
This is the hidden killer. When warm, humid air hits cold equipment, water condenses inside your launch monitor. Electronics don’t like water.
The rule: If you bring your launch monitor from a warm house into a cold garage, let it acclimate for 30 minutes before turning it on. If you bring it from a cold garage into a warm house, seal it in a ziplock bag first and let it warm up slowly.
