Uneekor and Rain or Shine Sales Ended: What Now?
Both major sales closed July 7. PlayBetter, Shop Indoor Golf, and Foresight deals are still active. Here's what buyers should do in the post-sale market.
The Short Answer
Uneekor's sale and Rain or Shine Summer Sale both ended July 7. Here's what prices look like now and where the best deals shifted.
Two major sales closed last night. Here’s where the market stands now.
The Uneekor Independence Day Sale and Rain or Shine Golf Summer Sale both expired at 11:59 PM EDT on July 7. If you bought during the window, your promo codes are safe through August 6. If you didn’t, the next real sale window for these retailers is Black Friday in November.
Let me cut through what’s happening right now, because the Uneekor site is still showing the sale banner and that’s going to confuse people.
What Actually Ended
Uneekor Independence Day Sale. The promotional period closed as scheduled on July 7. The banner you still see on uneekor.com is tied to the promo code redemption window — codes obtained during the sale period can be redeemed through August 6. But you can no longer get new codes at the sale pricing. If you missed it, the Eye Mini Lite goes back to its street price of $2,750, the Eye Mini to $3,500, and the Eye XO2 to north of $10,000. The free GSPro year is gone for new purchases.
Rain or Shine Summer Sale. Closed July 7. The SwingBay package discounts (up to 44% off), the launch monitor promos (GC3 at $5,249, R10 at $399, ST Max at $1,995), and the enclosure deals are no longer available through their event pricing. The GC3 at $5,249 survives because that’s Foresight’s permanent price drop, not a Rain or Shine sale. But the SwingBay enclosure at 43% off and the ST Max at $1,995 are back to standard pricing.
The Banner Problem
Uneekor.com still shows the Independence Day banner at the top of every page. If you click through, the promotion landing page is still accessible. This creates a real problem — buyers will land on the site, see the banner, and assume they can still buy at sale prices.
They cannot.
The promotional period ended. What’s still active is the redemption window for codes that were issued before the deadline. If you don’t already have a promo code, the prices you see on the product pages are the current standard pricing.
Don’t get baited by a stale banner.
What’s Still Available Right Now
The end of two sales doesn’t mean the deal market is dead. Several strong offers are still running.
PlayBetter Summer Sale — No end date confirmed. This is the deepest discount event currently active and covers the widest range of products:
- SkyTrak+ at $1,495 ($1,000 off, lowest price ever)
- SkyTrak+ Complete Studio at $3,995 ($2,600 off)
- SkyTrak ST Max at $1,995 ($1,000 off)
- Uneekor EYE MINI at $2,999 ($1,500 off, includes 1-year GSPro + Pro + GameDay)
- Foresight GC3 with LINK at $5,249 ($1,750 off — Foresight’s permanent price)
- Rapsodo MLM2PRO at $599.99 ($100 off)
- SimStudio packages with $2,500 to $5,500 off
The PlayBetter sale is the place to go right now if you’re shopping for a SkyTrak+, ST Max, or EYE MINI. The SimStudio complete packages are also the best value on turnkey sim rooms outside of Black Friday.
Foresight GC3 Father’s Day Bundle at $5,999 — Still live on foresightsports.com. This gets you the GC3, Bushnell Pro X3 LINK rangefinder, Wingman HD speaker, Vessel premium sling bag, and an extra year of warranty (3 years total). At $5,999 with the extras, this is still better value than the GC3 standalone at $5,249 if you’d buy the rangefinder anyway. The rangefinder alone is $599.
Foresight GC3 Buddy Bundle at $9,999 — Two GC3 units for $4,999 each, each with LINK rangefinder included. “One week only, limited quantities.” This was live as of July 8. If you have a friend building a sim at the same time, this cuts $350 per unit off the Father’s Day bundle price. But both ship to the same address.
Foresight Early Black Friday at $8,899 — Sim-in-a-Box Play 10’ GC3 Ball Enabled for $8,999. Landing page still active at golf.foresightsports.com/lp/early-black-friday. This is Foresight’s stealth sale — it’s been running for weeks without much noise. Worth checking if you want a complete GC3 package with enclosure and screen.
Shop Indoor Golf Summer Sale — Through August 2. QuadMAX at $14,999 ($7,700 off), GC3 at $5,249, GCQuad at $11,999 ($4,000 off), SkyTrak+ at $1,495. The QuadMAX at $14,999 is the best premium launch monitor deal running right now — $5,000 below Foresight’s own list price.
Elite Sim Golf Freedom 250 Sale — Through July 31. Garmin R50 SIMKIT at $5,999 with code FREE. Worth mentioning for anyone shopping the R50 in a complete package.
Garmin R10 at $399 — Garmin Birthday Sale pricing is still live through… some date. The R10 at $400 is the cheapest entry point into sim golf and it’s been at this price for weeks. Worth grabbing if you’re curious about sim golf and don’t want to commit $1,000+.
What to Do Now
If you wanted Uneekor: You missed the sale. The next window is Black Friday in November. Uneekor typically runs the same pricing — up to 40% off with free GSPro — around late November. If you can wait, wait. If you can’t, the Eye Mini Lite at $2,750 street price is still the cheapest camera-based launch monitor without a subscription. The PlayBetter Summer Sale has the EYE MINI at $2,999 with free GSPro through their own inventory.
If you wanted Rain or Shine packages: The SwingBay enclosure and bundle pricing is back to standard. Black Friday will likely bring similar discounts. For now, the closest alternative is Shop Indoor Golf’s Summer Sale through August 2 for launch monitors, or PlayBetter’s SimStudio packages for complete rooms.
If you want the GC3: $5,249 is Foresight’s new permanent price. It’s not going back up. You can buy it from Foresight, PlayBetter, or Shop Indoor Golf at that price right now. The only question is whether the Father’s Day bundle extras (rangefinder, bag, warranty) are worth $750 more. They are if you’d buy the rangefinder separately.
If you want the SkyTrak+ at $1,495: Buy it from PlayBetter while the Summer Sale is active. No end date has been announced, but the SkyTrak+ is effectively a clearance item — it’s the older model being replaced by the ST Max Pro or whatever comes next. When they’re gone, they’re gone.
If you want overhead: The PlayBetter Summer Sale has the Uneekor EYE XR at $5,999 with two free Swing Optix cameras. That’s $500 more than the Uneekor direct sale price ($5,499), but if you missed the Uneekor window, $5,999 is still the cheapest stickerless overhead deal in the market. Compare to the ProTee VX at $6,500 with a larger hitting zone.
The Bottom Line
Two sales ended. That’s normal for July 8 — the Independence Day cycle always wraps by July 7. What’s not normal is the quantity of deals still running. PlayBetter, Shop Indoor Golf, Foresight directly, and Elite Sim Golf all have active promotions running through various dates in July and August.
The post-sale market is not a desert. It’s a narrower set of options, but the deals that remain are genuine. The GC3 at $5,249 is not a sale — it’s the new price. The SkyTrak+ at $1,495 is a clearance event with limited stock. The QuadMAX at $14,999 is the best premium monitor price of the summer.
Don’t panic about missing the July 7 window. Don’t buy from a stale banner. Do check what’s still active, compare the pricing against Black Friday expectations, and make a decision based on whether you need a simulator this summer or you can wait four months.
If you need it this summer: PlayBetter or Shop Indoor Golf. If you can wait: Black Friday will match or beat these prices.
